Biography

Dr. Woon Kim joined the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety in April 2017 as a senior analyst in the data and information group. Previously, she was a safety data manager and analyst in the Maryland Transit Administration, managing daily accident reports and conducting statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, risks and hazards for all modes of public transportation operated by the MTA. Dr. Kim received master’s and doctorate degrees in civil engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
