Biography

Dr. Saquib Haroon joined the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety in June 2025. His research has focused on driver engagement, the integration of equity in traffic safety, and pedestrian and bicyclist safety. He is experienced in different experimental research and analytic approaches, including driving simulation and AI-enhanced interactive data infrastructure. Dr. Haroon received his bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from North South University, his master’s in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, and his doctorate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona.
